Happy New Year!
I hope your year is off to a great start. I’m grateful 2018 is in my rear view. 2018 was bittersweet for me. I had a wonderful moments with my husband and enjoyed great trips. But I also lost someone dear to me, my best friend of 27 years to cancer at the young age of 45. Consequently my writing suffered. I needed some time and space to remember my creative side.
NEW RELEASE
I’m happy to report, it’s returned and my 30th book: AT THE CEO’s PLEASURE debuted on January 1st. The book is a part of Stewart Heirs Trilogy. The series will focus on three (3) Stewart siblings: Ayden, Fallon & Dane.
As the oldest son of Henry Stewart, Ayden Stewart is the black sheep of the family. He was abandoned by his father who left him to start a new family. His mother Lillian re-married and his stepfather was an abusive drunk who abused them. Ayden vowed to get out and he did. He’s now a successful business owner, but he’s never forgotten or forgiven his father for his careless treatment of his mother and for not saving him from the abuse.
Ayden is all about business and has no time for romance. His beautiful assistant Maya Richardson is the best he’s ever had. He’s never had to worry about inappropriate behavior but yet he can’t seem ignore the attraction he has for her. One night their relationship changes when Ayden comforts Maya after she finds her sister in bed with her boyfriend.
The next morning, Ayden is regretful and backpedaling. Maya is devastated by his behavior and leaves town. If you’ve read any YSJ books, you’ll always find a healthy dollop of family drama. FAST FORWARD 5 YEARS – Maya’s mom is suffering from cancer and needs her daughter back in town. Ayden also so happens to need his old assistant back. But as we know, sometimes it’s hard to going back to friends when you’ve tasted the cookie. It doesn’t take long for Ayden and Maya to once again scorch the sheets.
I can’t help but put some travel in my books. If you follow me on Facebook, you may remember I was Jamaica in 2018. My husband and I visited Sandals South Coast. So of course Ayden & Maya’s love story finds them in steam Jamaica. But Ayden doesn’t do that love thing and Maya wants the fairy tale ending with marriage, babies and a white picket fence. She isn’t willing to settle, so will they find love?

I have decided to hold off publishing my self-pub military series until all 3 books in the trilogy are complete and can be released back-to-back. I find they have the biggest impact and fans are much more excited that way. Expect the Mitchell Brothers Series to be released in the Fall.
