You’re all probably wondering where I’ve been the last few months, but my day-job literally drained my creative spirit and after finishing Entangled Hearts Volume II in January, I took a hiatus from writing. What helped get me out my writing funk? Two events in May…

While June usually means vacation time for most readers as kids are out of school, I took a much needed vacation in May with a cruise to the Cayman Island and Cozumel, Mexico with my boyfriend. It was romantic, relaxing and creatively inspiring. While out on the deck looking at the stars, my next big idea sprang to life from a conversation with my boyfriend, formerly in Special Operations in the US Army. Romantic Suspense. I’ve been wanting to dabble in writing other genres and now is the time. Expect to see a new series in 2015.

Oh and if you haven’t been following me on Facebook, I won the RT BookReviews, Best Kimani Romance for 2013! That’s right out of nearly 60 books produced by Harlequin’s imprint, my 13th offering: A Chance With You won the award. I traveled to the Big Easy to give a speech and pickup an award that was 25 years in the making. Haven’t heard the speech yet? Enough posturing right, when will I have book out? I know you’ve been eagerly anticipating my 17th novel and the 3rd book in the Harts of Arizona Series. I’m ready to deliver!Untamed Hearts will debut before the month of June closes out. I apologize for the delay, but I’m back in tip-top shape and ready to deliver you a great read with Untamed Hearts. It will offer you the romance you enjoy, the steamiest love scenes I’ve written to date (thank you vacation!) and plenty of the drama you’ve come to expect from a Yahrah St. John romance.

I’ve already started writing my 18th book: Restless Hearts the fourth and final book in the Harts of Arizona Series. Expect to see it on sale sometime in October.

And to keep you up-to-date on my latest goings-on, I was approached for a return to Harlequin for a couple of continuity series. Those are the fun reads in which one author starts off a story and other authors finish it… So for fans of the Draysons: Sprinkled with Love Series– the Draysons will return and expect a new release from me in 2016. If you can’t wait that long, I will be launching the California Desert DreamsSeries in 2015. More details to follow.
